Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I am an extremely dedicated, loyal person who’s passionate about life. Family first… always! I’m addicted to the gym and believe in living an active healthy lifestyle. I love to travel and I’m always up for a challenge.
What does your role entail at Itec Tiyende?
I am the Sales Manager – our energy is focused on the day to day private/corporate business. I specifically manage the sales division of the company’s products and services. Ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. I also identify objectives, strategies and action plans all aimed at improving short and long-term sales goals and earnings.
Describe a typical day at the office for you
I’m usually in the office around 6:30/7am, read for a bit and then attend to my emails. My mornings are usually for admin and then meetings afterwards. Late afternoons consist of planning for the following day.
What are some of the challenges and most satisfying aspects of your role?
Sales is always a challenge but that’s what makes it exciting. I think one of the toughest things is to keep the team motivated at all times. Satisfaction is once and when you see the team succeeding.
What stands out for you at Itec Tiyende? Is it the culture, the people or something else?
Definitely the culture, the culture and people go hand in hand, we are like a family here. It’s also around the work ethic, the staff are determined, strong minded people who always want to succeed.
What are some of the habits you follow consistently that help you excel at what you do?
Performing consistency in what I do. I’m always learning and go for as much training as possible. I take a lot of time to understand my clients and in the way I approach or sell to them. Time management for me is key, plan your days ahead but more importantly NEVER be late! I am also very persistent.
Do you have a specific life motto you live by?
Life and time are the best teachers. Life teaches us the use of time and time teaches us the value of life.
